Under One Roof:

SMART Reading Headquarters and Book Bank Warehouse Consolidate Operations in New Portland Location 

SMART Reading’s Portland offices moved into a new statewide headquarters: 480 NE 9th Ave, Portland, Oregon 97232 (the Bison Building). 

Since the Children’s Book Bank and SMART Reading merged in 2022, we’ve had two locations in Portland, The Book Bank warehouse in Northeast Portland and SMART Reading’s statewide office in downtown Portland. We are thrilled to now be together under one roof! This move allowed us to streamline our operations and have a beautiful, functional space for hosting volunteers and community members.
