Northwest Area
Lincoln, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill Counties
The SMART Reading Northwest Area team implements SMART Reading and raises funds to support SMART Reading in Lincoln, Marion, Polk, and Yamhill counties. In the 2023-24 school year, we served 1,081 PreK through third-grade students and gave away 9,648 books.
We are focused on recruiting more volunteers and establishing strong financial support among our communities to ensure we can continue this important work of empowering local children through reading.
